Diethylene glycol

Colorless liquid, of low volatility and viscosity, hygroscopic. It is completely miscible with water and many organic solvents. Due to its physicochemical properties, it is used as an assistant in glass polishing, cement polishing, formulation of adhesives, plasticizers for paper, shoe and furniture waxes, and printing inks.
