2 Ethyl Hexyl Acrylate

Butyl Acrylate

It is readily polymerizable and exhibits a wide range of properties depending on monomer selection and reaction conditions. Used in the production of homopolymers and copolymers. Colorless hydrophilic liquid which is the basis of hydrogel products, such as soft contact lenses, polymer binders for the controlled release of drugs, absorbent of body fluids. It can be used to control hydrophobicity in other monomers.
