Cetyl Alcohol

Stearyl Alcohol

Fatty alcohol obtained from stearic acid, one of the most common fatty acids in nature. In cosmetics it is used as a thickener and emulsifier; It is also used as an emollient, for its ability to keep the skin hydrated.

Cetostearyl Alcohol

Easily biodegradable fatty alcohol derived from renewable vegetable oils. It is used in many cosmetic, skin and hair care products. It is an excellent consistency regulator. It also acts as an opacifier and viscosity controller.

Isostearyl alcohol

Long chain alcohol derived from renewable vegetable sources. Colorless and virtually odorless, it has excellent spreading properties and provides a silky, non-greasy, velvety skin feel when formulated in day creams and lotions, as well as sunscreen products.
