Colorless liquid, with a fruity odor and a medium boiling point; it is an active solvent for film formers, it is used in nitrocellulose lacquers as it dissolves easily and imparts fluidity, it is used in 2K polyurethane coatings to balance flow and drying, it prevents whitening when drying.
